FORMAL CRITIQUE

Sitting on an incomplete bridge is a man with a hammer in his hand. He is on his hands in knees. He is completing a bridge. He has a stack of wood tied down to his back. He is wearing dark color which has an onset to the picture. His face is hidden so we can not see the despair or hard work in his face. The way he is holding the hammer appears to show his work and dedication to completing the bridge.

The bridge the man is building acts as a leading line. It draws us closer to him so we can get a feel of what he has been doing. The bridge is cut off by the picture so we don’t know how continuous the bridge is and if it goes on forever or if it is just a cut off.

This photograph interprets hard work and dedication. It shows us that we can achieve anything if we work hard
